Starting a Wire Transfer

FSB makes it simple to initiate wire transfers1 for both domestic and international needs. Before a transfer can be processed, a wire transfer agreement must be on file.

Visit a branch or contact FSB online to complete a transfer agreement to get started sending wires.

Information Needed For a Wire Transfer

To successfully receive a wire transfer1, provide the following details to the sender:

  1. FSB’s Routing Number: 073911676

  2. Bank Name & Address: Farmers State Bank, 1240 8th Avenue, Marion, IA 52302

  3. FSB Account Number where the funds will be deposited

  4. Account Holder's Name & Address for the person or business receiving the wire

  5. FSB's SWIFT Code for International Wires: BBWIUS44

Wire Transfer Disclosure

To successfully send a wire transfer1, provide the following details to FSB:

  1. Wire Transfer Agreement: Ensure a wire transfer agreement is on file with FSB before initiating the transfer

  2. Amount of Wire: The total dollar amount to be transferred

  3. Sender's Details: Name, Address, FSB Account Number

  4. Receiver's Details: Name, Address, Account Number

  5. Receiver's Bank Information: Bank Name, Address, ABA/Routing Number, or SWIFT Code (For International Wires)

Wire Transfer Schedules

Wire transfers are processed Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Reserve holidays:

Domestic Outgoing 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
International Outgoing 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Incoming Wire Transfers Wires received before 4:30 p.m. are processed on the same business day.

How Long Does a Wire Transfer Take?

Wire transfers1 initiated with FSB before the cutoff time listed above are processed the same business day. The delivery time for the funds to reach the recipient's bank varies, but it typically takes one to three business days.
