Get to Know Scott
Scott graduated from ISU with a BS in agricultural business with an emphasis on finance, marketing, and management information systems.
He began his career in banking by working for the ATM department and as a Teller for FSB during summer breaks while in college. In 1989, he began full-time employment at Norwest Bank in the Credit Training Program in Des Moines and was then promoted to an Ag Loan Officer in the Cedar Falls Norwest office.
In July 1995, Scott left Norwest to join the family banking business at FSB as Vice President and Ag Loan officer. In 1998, he added the title of Alburnett Branch Manager to his list of responsibilities. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2013. Scott serves on FSB’s Funds Management, Loan Review, Strategic Planning, Management, and Investments committees.
Scott and his wife Kristin are the proud parents of four children: Jenna, Austin, Jordan, and Allyssa. They live on a farm in rural Center Point, where Scott raises corn, soybeans, and cattle. Scott likes to spend time outside with his family hunting and fishing, and a more recently discovered hobby involves his grandchildren and anything they want to do.
Known for his expertise in agricultural lending, Scott is the trusted resource for farmers looking to grow and succeed.
Understanding the demands of farm life, I focus on building relationships with my customers to help them thrive in our community.
